A Shared Street
Making room for everyday life and new urban activities.
A public-space proposal addressing conflicts between pedestrians and livestreaming activity through layered spaces, circulation and a sequence of street nodes.
01 / The question
New forms of visibility and activity reshape a street's everyday use. This project asks how a neighbourhood can accommodate visitors and livestreaming while supporting pedestrian movement and local life.
02 / The approach
A master plan establishes circulation and a hierarchy of spaces. Layered activity areas and public-space nodes give different uses a place within the neighbourhood.
03 / My contribution
Independent master planning, spatial organisation and node design, developed as an academic urban-design project.
